Mr. & Mrs. Holdaway

Update on the Holdaways....

Clarke and Cheryl were married Aug. 14 2010 in the Mount Timpanogos LDS temple. It was a wonderful day! We were so blessed to have so many of the people closest to us with us in the temple. Thank you all for sharing that with us and being there for us! <3 you all.

We had our reception the night before and it was so much fun! We had a great time visiting with people and having an awesome dance party! :)
Shout out to all my family and wonderful bridesmaids who helped so much with the reception! Love you! Couldn't have done it without you all! MWAH!

We drove to LA a couple days later for our open house. My mother in law is WONDERFUL! The open house was incredible thanks to her and her awesome friends. The whole house and yard was beach themed complete with Polynesian food, Luau style torch lights, and even a tiki bar (ran by the fantastic bar tender Shane Holdaway)! It was so much fun!

The next morning bright and early we got on a plane headed for Hawaii! 5 1/2 hours of flying later we landed on Maui. We stayed in Clarke's grandparent's condo on Kaanapali beach. It was so much fun! Snorkeling at Molekini, swimming with sea turtles and all sorts of cool fishies, eating at BubbaGump shrimp, shopping at Lahaina, SURVIVING the tretcherously long and scary road to Hana, visiting the black sand beach, the red sand beach, an ancient Japanese graveyard, and having a great time relaxing by the beach and getting super tan (well ok actually just Cheryl...Clarke has to cake on the sunscreen twice every hour and put a shirt over his legs, middle, and head :)

And now we're back to real life....We love our apartment and have been having the greatest time decorating and getting it all set up. :) So now we're just busy settling into jobs and school and married life!

Life is good.

  1. Thanks for keeping us updated! Now we just need wedding pictures. PS. You might want to make your text lighter because it's hard to read against a dark background :)
